Information

Located in the Algarve region of southern Portugal, the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, commonly known as the Portimao circuit, was inaugurated at the end of 2008. With a length of 4.684 km, the circuit offers 32 different configurations and is equipped with numerous facilities, making it one of the most modern circuits in the world today.

Built with Formula 1 racing in mind, the Portuguese circuit is considered to be particularly demanding for drivers, offering a long, bumpy surface that sometimes makes it difficult to drive prototype cars and motorcycles.

On the other hand, the Algarve region is widely recognized for its year-round warm climate and world-class gastronomy. Beyond the natural landscape, with its beautiful beaches and vast mountain ranges, the region is also home to a multitude of activities, from sport to culture and leisure.
