Five years after its last appearance, the Ultimate Cup European Series returned to the Mugello circuit. In the Tuscan hills, the weather added spice to the already hotly contested races in all categories.
European Endurance Prototype Cup: Graff back on track, Virage beaten by RLR M Sport

A highly technical circuit, more than capricious weather and more than thirty prototypes on track - that was the menu for the 4H of Mugello. The NP02s and LMP3s contested a race shortened by almost two hours, as the red flag interrupted the event for safety reasons.
After a 40-minute first part and a 1h20 second part, Graff Racing completed a one-two finish. On the top step of the podium, the N°7 of John Corbett and James Winslow triumphed. The two drivers had not left the top-3 since the second round of the year in Portimão. The overall leaders proved to be very solid to record a crucial result for the title. Eric Trouillet, Luis Sanjuan and Loris Kyburz finished a fine second. Racing Spirit of Léman finished third thanks to Jacques Wolff and Nicolas Maulini.
MVS2 Racing places one car in the top-4, the N°28 of Philippe Cimadomo and Tim Mérieux. Karen Gaillard, Iko Segret and Marc Faggionato once again finished in the leading group. The N°71 ANS Motorsport is still in search of its first podium of the year.
RLR M Sport scored its first LMP3 success. The British team ended Team Virage's invincibility in 2024. The defending champions still managed to place two of their cars on the podium. The N°88 of Daniel Macia, Raphael Narac and Jacek Zielonka beat the N°1 of Sacha Lehmann, Axel Gnos and Georgios Kolovos.
Ultimate Formula Cup: Soldavini wipes out championship deficit

In the space of just one meeting, Juan Francisco Soldavini has virtually wiped out his deficit in the overall standings. Having finished 37 points behind leader Enzo Richer (Formula Motorsport), the Argentinian now trails the Luxembourger by 3.5 points! In top form at Hockenheim, the Argentinian arrived at Mugello in full confidence. The Art-Line Virage driver left Italy with three wins under his belt. The Formula Motorsport resident needs to bounce back in Magny-Cours or risk being overtaken by his runner-up.
In the Gentleman category, the races were hotly contested, with three different winners: Frédéric Boillot (Race Motorsport), Laurent Wutrich (Lamo Racing) and Aubin Robert-Prince (Lamo Racing). TS Corse had no rivals in FR2.0, as Lopez Nano swept all before him.
Trofeo GT Endurance: A bitter podium for Vortex

The Vortex team left Mugello with mixed emotions. On the one hand, the satisfaction of having finished their first Trofeo GT Endurance race of the year, and on the second step of the podium. On the other, the disillusionment of coming so close to a huge success with version 2.0.
At the end of 4 hours, when the weather took its toll, Arnaud and Olivier Gomez were leading the race going into the final lap. The former saw the Vinama by GET Speed Mercedes overtake him in sector 2. After holding out for several minutes, he gave way just a few bends from the chequered flag. Ameerh Naran and Tom Jackson finally took the win. Team Visiom (Jean Paul Pagny, Jean Bernard Bouvet, David Hallyday) completed the podium.
2B Autosport placed two cars in the Porsche Cup top-3. The N°7 of Hugo Chevalier, Olivier Favre and Yann Penlou won, while the N°14 of the Vandewoestyne family finished third. For its first appearance, Net'Cuv Racing (Ulric Amado, Michael Desmaele) took second place.
The N°701 Vortex (Jimmy Luminier, Christophe Derouineau, Stéphane Gouverneur), the Ginetta GT4 from CMR (Hugo Mogica, Laurent Mogica, Thibaut Mogica) and the N°19 Alpine from Chazel Technologie Course (Benoit Marion, Julien Bounie and Olivier Martinez) won their respective classes.
Trofeo GT Sprint: SR&R shines at home

As he does every time he takes to the track, Francesco Atzori won. However, his two home victories had a special flavour for the Italian, as his family and sponsors were present to witness his success.
The SR&R team also won another race thanks to Lourenço Monteiro. In the UCS3 class, Manfredi Ravetto's team pulled out all the stops. The Transalps took a big step towards the titles at the end of the year.
The only car to beat a Ferrari in the overall standings, the Renault RS01 made a triumphant comeback thanks to Emmanuel Collard. Eric Debard (Debard Automobiles by Racetivity), twice, Karl Vandewoestyne (2B Autosport) and Lionel Rigaud (GP Racing Team) shared victory in the Porsche Cup category.
Alfredo Hernandez (BDR Competition Grupo Prom) won three times in UCS2, while André Zaphiratos (Driv'N) was unbeaten in UCS4.
Legends Cars Cup: fierce battle for victory

120 thousandths was the biggest gap between the top three drivers in each race. The Italian round of the Legends Cars Cup was no exception to the rule. Florian Baloche and Maxime Lieutenant won in the Elite Pro class, while Maxime Sonntag was always just a whisker away from success.
In the Elite class, Fabien Lodey then Emmanuel Burel beat the championship leader. The latter, Pierre-Lauryl Broussaud, won the final race of the weekend.
