With a comfortable lead in the championship, Enzo Richer knew that podium finishes would be more than enough to secure the title. As the weekend got underway, the Luxembourger saw his number of rivals dwindle. Argentina's Juan Francisco Soldavini (ART-Line Virage) was not present at Paul Ricard, and so could no longer lay claim to the crown. Frédéric Boillot (Race Motorsport) was the only driver to beat Enzo Richer, but the Gentleman Driver had to close the gap to 44.5 points.

In Race 1, the championship leader finished second. His rival's eighth place prevented him from being mathematically champion by half a point! The decision was made at the end of Race 2, where the Luxembourger was again on the podium. Poleman for the last meeting of the season, he suffered a technical problem while leading the race. Able to restart, the Formula Motorsport driver rounded off a triumphant season with a final third-place finish.

Engaged with Winfield Racing, in addition to his participation in the European Endurance Prototype Cup with COOL Racing, Adrien Closmenil had to adapt to the switch from the LMP3 to the F3R 13''. The Frenchman did so admirably, winning twice.

Had it not been for a technical problem in Race 2, he would probably have made it a hat-trick, as he was leading the field before having to come to a halt. This benefited Dylan Estre (Formula Motorsport), who added a second F3R victory to his record of achievements.

In the Gentleman category, Frédéric Boillot was already assured of the title. The Race Motorsport driver was hoping to finish on a high note. Victories went to Laurent Wutrich (Formula Motorsport) and Aubin Robert-Prince (Formula Motorsport) on two occasions.

Like Enzo Richer, Alain Bucher finished the job on Saturday afternoon. At the end of Race 2, the LAMO Racing resident was officially the new FR2.0 champion. Finishing 15 points ahead of team-mate Thierry Malhomme, the Emirati scored a second-place finish and a victory to end the hopes of his last rival. In Race 3, Alain Bucher set the record straight with another win.
